Please join Spring engineers Greg Turnquist and Roy Clarkson as we host a roundtable discussion about the latest updates with Spring. As many of you know SpringSource was acquired by VMware about four years ago, but did you know that Spring is now part of Pivotal, a new spinoff from VMware and EMC? What does this mean for Spring? More importantly, what does it mean for your projects and applications that leverage Spring? We'll try to answer these questions and more during this meetup. We hope to see you there!
Greg is a member of the Spring team at Pivotal, a spin off of VMware and EMC. He launched the Nashville JUG three years ago and wrote "Spring Python 1.1" and "Python Testing Cookbook". He has been a Spring fan for years. @gregturn
Roy is also a member of the Spring team at Pivotal, where he leads the Spring Mobile and Spring for Android projects. He has worked with the iOS and Android SDKs for several years, and web development frameworks for several more years before that. Roy lives in Atlanta where he is an organizer for the Atlanta Spring User Group. Find @royclarkson on Twitter and GitHub.
