I am Jamie Meredith and I am the Marketing organizer for BarCamp Nashville 2008. I would like to formally invite the whole meetup group to this year’s BarCamp as I feel that many of your members might be interested in what BarCamp Nashville has to offer them!

BarCamp Nashville is an open-source gathering of writers, entrepreneurs, technology enthusiasts, marketers, new media junkies and geeks who come together for one weekend to share what they know and learn what they don’t. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees.

Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn is welcome and invited to join.

BarCamp, being held on October 18 at the Sommet Center, is free to all of those who would like to attend and is a fantastic way to hear about all of the exciting things happening in Nashville’s digital world as well as meet some of your peers from not only Nashville but from all around the country. The event will be a full day of speakers, discussions, and networking in a casual setting that aims to educate as well as foster community.
