March Meetup: Sleep and Memory Connection

The Sleep-Memory Connection

Does a good night's sleep equal a good memory? Can you actually learn new skills while you sleep? Join our Science Cafe in March as we sit down with Dr. J. Michael Bolds of St. Thomas Health Services Center for Sleep. We'll explore what our brains are doing all night while we're counting sheep! Dr. Bolds received his doctor of medicine from Vanderbilt Medical School in 1979. He then completed his internship, residency, and pulmonary fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is board certified in the specialties of Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Sleep Medicine.

Yes, it was too noisy at Fido's, but the this was a great topic and I enjoyed the meetup.

It was very difficult to hear when the conversation moved to the opposite end of the table, which was most of the time since that is where the speaker was. I missed half the input. It wasn't as loud in the room at the last meeting, but the speaker was also in the middle.

Parking's no problem at Fido's. In back of Fido's is a large parking lot that's shared by a dry cleaners and other businesses. Across the street behind the Villager Tavern is another large parking lot.

I have never been to Fido's. Is it difficult to find parking?
