May - The Search for a Second Earth

With all the galaxies in the universe, how likely is it that we will find another another planet like Earth? Are there other planets capable of sustaining life similar to what we know? How would we find it if it does exist? What would it mean to us here on Earth if we did find it? In May, our guest will be astrobiologist Dr. Todd Gary of Tennessee State University. We'll discuss the decades long search by astronomers to find other Earth-like planets in the universe. Bring your thoughts, opinions and questions and prepare for a fun, lively discussion!

Dr. Todd Gary is Director of the Institute of Understanding Biological Systems (IUBS) at Tennessee State University he is the Principal Investigator for the management of the NASA Astrobiology Institute-Minority Institute Research Support program (NAI-MIRS).

Better than reading a magazine. Had an opportunity to ask questions to a knowledgable scientist.

Sorry! But the weather looks like it's going to be bad tonight, so I'm afraid I'll be staying in!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
