Artificial Intelligence: Will machines be intelligent someday?

Speakers: Dr. Alan Peters, Vanderbilt University, and David Peters, CEO, Universal Robotics

Join Vanderbilt professor Dr. Alan Peters who will debate his brother David Peters, Chief Executive of Universal Robotics, on whether it will be possible for machines to be intelligent in the future. Dr. Peters invented a technique for machines to learn that is currently used on the NASA Humanoid robot, deployed to the International Space Station. Mr. Peters’s company, Nashville-based Universal Robotics, sells 3D learning software that makes industrial machines more flexible.

My only complaint is that I would have loved more time for questions :) There needs to be a post-lecture coffee shop Q&A.
