Just in time for Halloween! We have all seen ghosts in film and on television, from Poltergeist to Medium to Ghost Hunters. But how much of that is real and how much is fiction? What does science tell us about ghosts? What kinds of evidence are offered for the existence of ghosts, and how valid is that evidence? Scientific paranormal investigator Benjamin Radford will discuss several case studies of his ghost investigations included in his new book Scientific Paranormal Investigation: How to Solve Unexplained Mysteries.
This is a special meetup in which we are teaming up with the Louisville and Cincinnati Science Cafes as well, who are in town for the Center for Skeptical Inquiry conference starting on Thursday in Nashville. Radford will be presenting at the conference as well. If you are interested in learning more about the conference, click here.
