In the last few decades, humans have learned how to create crops that are resistant to disease, can withstand drought or provide a larger yield. These changes have been made possible through bio-engineering and genetic research. In April, we'll sit down with geneticist Dr. James Anderson to discuss the differences between organic, natural and genetically modified foods. Is it truly better to buy local? What crops are considered sustainable?

Bring your thoughts, opinions and questions for what will surely be a lively conversation!

Dr. Anderson specializes in agribusiness consulting and was involved in business management, marketing and genetics research for 25 years and currently works as a consultant.
