Join us for the opening festivities at Sumner Crest Winery, located conveniently off I-65 N in Portland. This winery bottles many varieties and grows all of its own fruit. With multiple awards from the "Wines of the South Competition" in 2004 and 2005, Sumner Crest is making a name for itself regionally!
The Kickoff celebration on Saturday, May 30th is going to be a Luau and will have great music and appetizers. PLUS...limbo contests, hula-hoop contests, prizes and a Margarita Beach Band!!! The event itself is free and there's plenty to see from cool antique/classic cars to the 17th and 18th century antiques that make Sumner Crest unlike any other winery in this area.
Leslie Allen tried the Merlot and the Cabernet and was impressed with their deep, rich flavors. Hope you will join us because this will be an event to remember.
We will now be chartering a party bus for this event!!!
Last year, we took a chartered bus trip to another TN winery and it was a time we are all STILL talking about. The bus was practically the best part of our event!!! Cost per person is $31.50. You must pay via PayPal when you RSVP "Yes". If payment is not received with 48 hours of your RSVP, then you will be changed to a "No" to allow room for someone else. The limit for this trip is now 30! (If the waiting list reaches 25 people, I will charter a second bus and we will double our fun for this trip!!!)
The fee includes: Your spot on the bus, safe travel to-and-from the event, snacks on the bus, a place with the group.

***This event begins and ends in the Kmart parking lot, on the bus. No one is permitted to drive on their own or meet us there. This is not negotiable.***
Last year, when we returned to the parking lot after an amazing time of eating, dancing and wine tasting in the grass of the vineyards, we were having such a good time that we even continued the party to Waffle House, wrapping up a full day and night of great fun. (Fee is only refundable if the trip is cancelled.)

7. Chair/Blanket/Picnic Blanket

13. Napkins, towels, hand wipes
14. Your own wine for the bus trip for those who cannot wait...ONLY WHITE WINE can be opened on the bus!!!

Refunds offered if:
- the Meetup is cancelled
Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
$5.50 Every year
This covers: Event, Organizer, and Meetup costs.
