I wanted to let you all know about an amazing wine event in case you're interested in attending. Maybe if there are enough people interested we can make it an "official" meetup, but I just wanted to get the information out to everyone.
Thursday, Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. at the Sound Kitchen in Brentwood, Brown Dog Foundation will host its annual Vintners Dinner with Domaine-Chandon wines. It is a five-course meal, and each course will be paired with a wine.
Tickets are $125 each, with the money going to support the mission of Brown Dog Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance for pets' medical bills. There will be a silent and live auction at the event, as well.
It is a great event, and the food and wine are always wonderful. Tickets must be purchased by Oct. 10, and it is expected to sell out.
If anyone from the group decides to go, drop me a line. If we have enough interest, perhaps we can get a table together or something. I know it's a little pricy compared to our usual events, but if you can afford it, it is truly a night to remember!
For more information or to buy tickets, visit www.browndogfoundation.org/wine-dinner11.
Let me know if you have any questions or plan to attend. I am also working on some other events for our group! We still need a host for our October event, if anyone's interested. We had an amazing time at JR and Dana's a few weeks ago!
