It is with great regret that we must cancel this year's International #CabernetDay celebration scheduled for Aug. 30. With no explanation, the City Club has decided to cancel the venue, and their short notice has left us with less than two weeks to find a new place to host the event. If you have already purchased tickets, your money will be refunded. Our apologies to all of our guests, supporters, and our partners -- The Saucy Sisters, The Red Wine Effect and participating wine stores Daily Spirits, Grand Cru, Grapevine Wine and Spirits, Iroquois Wine and Spirits, and Nashville Wine and Spirits. We are so sorry to cancel a great evening enjoying wine and raising money for family pets, but these circumstances are completely beyond our control.
If you happen to know a venue that can host this event on short notice, please let us know. We hate to miss out on such an important day for wine lovers, not to mention all the cats and dogs who could use the funds raised for life-saving medical treatments.
If, by some miracle, we find a new venue, we will let you know ASAP.
Sorry for the inconvenience. We know you were looking forward to this as much as we were. Please save the date for International #ChardonnayDay, which will be May 23, 2013.
