Upcoming events

Hi everyone!

I wanted to touch base and let folks know what came out of the planning meeting that we had last week. I think this is going to be an awesome year, and I hope you can all get out to some events.

First of all, we have a few things scheduled right now and plenty of fun stuff on the horizon.

On March 1, we're going to be pairing girl scout cookies with wine, and April 5 is "Welcome to the Jungle," where we'll be tasting wines with animals on the labels! Thanks to Sandra, Laura F, and Kristy for hosting these events. And remember, if you'd like to have an event at your house, we are always looking for hosts and there will be incentives for hosting this year.

We're also gearing up to have a Chef's dinner with wine pairings planned just for us at Amerigo in Cool Springs, a wine and painting night, wine-making class, another train ride to DelMonaco AND another bus trip along the Natchez Trace wine trail, plus events at nearby wineries like Beachaven, Arrington and Bean's Creek. PLUS, we are going to have a huge "It's 5 o'clock somewhere" pool party this summer and MANY other events. Stay tuned for more details.

And, of course, I cannot forget our Wine Country Coastal cruise in September. It is going to be a great week and definitely something to cross off our bucket lists. I know that seems like ages from now, but we can't guarantee the prices on the cabins after the beginning of April, so please check this trip out and start thinking about it if you aren't already.

Lastly, we'd like to ask you a big favor: we're going to have an art day using corks in the fall. So, if you can save corks for us, that would be absolutely awesome.

I hope that we'll see you soon. As always, if you have any questions or ideas for events, please send me an email.
