Dear Friends:

This is a new meetup group for those of you who are interested in memoir writing. Anyone who has written a memoir, is in the process of writing a memoir or is just interested in learning about this genre is welcome participate.

Since this is our first meeting, we'll do some brainstorming and chatting about how we want to organize our future meetings, in addition to discussing our genre. Please come with an open mind, some ideas, and any completed pieces that you would like to share with the group.

I hope that those of you who are interested in this group can attend the meeting. I'm really excited about this new group and I'm looking forward to meeting you, sharing and growing with you.
