Treinel Pequenininho (Kelvin Wyatt)

Trained by the famous Capoeira Angola Mestre (Master) Mestre Caboclinho of Bahia Kelvin has made it his job to pass on the beauty of Capoeira Angola here in Michigan. Kelvin started training in Capoeira in his teenage years after seeing a demonstration that amazed him intensely. He later found his Mestre (Master) Mestre Caboclinho and started on a clean journey into the folkloric dance, theater, art, music and culture that is Capoeira Angola. Kelvin has the given his name “Pequenininho” by Mestre Caboclinho and graduated in 2007 to the level of Treinel (teacher) in Capoeira Angola.

“My goal is to pass on something beautiful to everyone who loves to have fun and live healthier lives”

It was fun, learned a lot of new different things. Also got some homework for the week to study before the next class.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
