I'll be attending a beginner timber framing workshop at the North House Folk School (http://www.northhouse.org) in Grand Marais, MN. The workshop begins on May 12th and last for 5 days.

Hi Anna! Thanks for the welcome! I'm hoping to be able to get out to Chi-town also! We'll see what happens.
There isn't a whole lot going on up here - I did connect with a guy in Battle Creek who's working on a cob wall/bench in a park with some people. Apparently there's also a lady out by Detroit that does straw bale work. Hubby & I are planning for making a small house (first of three phases perhaps) on my parent's land in spring (should permits work out, etc). I'll keep you posted!
