The location is posted on the site - I guess is didn't come through in the email. My house is at 1639 N. St. Louis in Chicago (Humboldt Park).
A dump truck is dropping a load of granite into the alley, and we are shoveling it/tamping it into the trench.
Our work days are participant friendly. Work hard if you want to or can, work a little until the novelty wears off, or just come by and take a look and have some pizza :). Some members show up announcing that they don't want to actually work. That is absolutely fine - we appreciate their company and we find chairs for them. Some members have to have the tools taken away from them at some point so someone else can have a turn. We appreciate them too :). The tenor or the day is usually set by the mix of people who happen to show up.
We will start building the wall on top of it in the spring.
