When: Saturday, January 16,[masked]:00 AM

No hiking group worth its name can go without a good winter hike, and certainly one on beautiful Sugarloaf mountain. This is an easy hike, about 3 miles.

We'll hike on the white blazed Mountain Loop trail, and making a trip to the summit before returning to our cars. We will go for lunch at a country restaurant on the way back. For the hike, dress appropriately, and bring water. To carpool, we'll meet at 10 am at Grosvenor metro station. Dogs on leash are okay.

More info: Sugarloaf mountain web-site:

This is part of hike 40 in the book 60 Hikes within 60 Miles of Washington DC by Paul Elliott, Menasha Ridge Press.
