ATC swap themes:
3. Technique swap: "challenge pack" swap from packets handed out at June swap.
At this meetup, we will work on creating "jam" cards, which are simply ATCs that have been worked on by multiple artists (usually 3, sometimes 4). We do jam cards in sets so that when they're finished, each participant gets one card from the set. (Haven't jammed before? Don't worry--it's easy and fun!)
We've also restocked the Jam Jar, which lets you work on sets of jam cards at your own pace. You're welcome to work on any of the sets already in the jar. Or you can bring some backgrounds to start your own set of jam cards (be sure to put "#1" and your name at the top of each cards).
We'll explain in more detail at the Meetup. TIP: For jamming, it's easiest to work no-dry-time or quick-dry elements, mediums and materials. (Think rubber stamps, quick-dry ink pads, markers, punches and paper ephemera rather than paint.)
- The background swap is back (take a background, leave a background)!
- Challenge packs are back!
- Blank ATCs, gluesticks and other loaner supplies and tools are back!
