Who are your favorite artists, well-known or otherwise?

Jasper Johns. Joseph Cornell. Louise Bourgeois. Jenny Holzer. Louis Comfort Tiffany. Jackson Pollock. Gerald Murphy (who worked on enormous canvasses). I'm sure there are others.

What other small-scale art projects (if any) appeal to you? Greeting cards, postcards, altered books, boxes, 4 x 4s...?

All of the above, but right now I'm particularly drawn to art journals and 6 x 6 projects.

Why ATCs? What's the attraction?

These small-scale artworks are challenging yet low-risk. I love making them, especially for themed swaps, and I love trading them with other ATC artists in person or online.

What's your motto or favorite saying?

1. "Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans." -- John Lennon. 2. "Enjoy every sandwich." -- Warren Zevon.

What are your favorite places on earth?

Cape Cod. The Berkshires. Madison, Connecticut. Italy. Any art museum. Any good bookstore.

Hi, folks. I started the New England ATCs+ Meetup Group because I'm an ATC, altered-art and mixed-media enthusiast looking for kindred spirits. And I've certainly found them!

What Anne is saying about this Meetup Group
