Hollywood and the record industry are crying now because they made big mistakes resisting selling digital
media early on and encouraged piracy to flourish.
In addition, they produce complete crap for the most part.
I pay for stuff that is quality. The small amount of it that is. I rarely go to movies (and most I do suck),
I used to have HBO only just for the
original shows, now I have no cable at all. Have streaming netflix and watched recently Firefly,
Steven Fry in America, stuff like that not on TV. Buy lots of BBC DVDs about nature.
I rarely buy any new music. Last thing I bought was a digital copy of an Arcade Fire album and individual
songs for my wedding playlist (mostly classic songs).
Or remember that Friday song? WTF? Thank goodness for smaller labels and studios.
I can't remember the last time I listened to a regular pop music station. It all sucks!
