Welcome, and thank you so much for your interest in our beloved bully breeds! A "bully breed" is a slang term that loosely refers to any dog breed of bulldog ancestry, chief among them, the American pit bull terrier. The NEBBC has a special affinity for any breed that is discriminated against. All breeds and ages are welcome at our events! You need not have a bully to be part of our group, only a love of them! So grab your pooch and join us for a walk, hike, fundraiser, training class or play date while advocating for our misunderstood dogs and standing up against breed specific legislation.
The NEBBC's mission is to promote responsible ownership, raise awareness, aid in local rescue efforts, provide resources for each other, and last but not least, have fun socializing with our two- and four-footed members!
EVERY member is welcomed to and encouraged to suggest events specific to your locale. Our members are scattered all over New England; we all won't be able to make it to every event, but if YOU'RE going, feel free to post it by clicking "suggest a meetup" on our Main Page when you join! Going for a group with your dog? Interested in starting a walking group? Is there an upcoming dog-friendly festival in your area? Please "suggest" it! One of our goals this year is to become more active and more of a presence outside of central Massachusetts, where we originated. Every member can help accomplish this. Whether you're in MA, RI, CT, ME, NH or VT, help activate the NEBBC in your town!
You can follow the NEBBC on Facebook at www.facebook.com/NEBBC!
The NEBBC Soldier Dogs have their own youtube channel for the latest and greatest video diary of training, demonstrations and more! ww.youtube.com/NEBBCSoldiers!
We also have a shop: cafepress.com/nebbc. Check out our latest gear!
Thanks again! We look forward to meeting you!
