Hi everyone it's good to be back and am looking forward to a few fun rides this year with everyone, I thought to get back into the swing of things Id setup a nice easy ride that should be not only fun but very memorable? The 3095 ride is one a few of us did back in 2011 and the ride down 77-S has never left my mind and still leaves a lump in my throat every now and then, I'm sure you'll see why at some point!
Will be meeting just up the road from the starting point with kickstands up at 10:00am to leave Subway together; So please be there "fueled up" early! Also if you plan on getting something to eat or anything else keep in mind where leaving Subway at 10:00am. After that will all pull into the "Days Inn" at once this way will stay together for the whole ride to the Ohio Veterans' Memorial Park. From there grab someone to hang out with and enjoy the day of events... I know this seems like a long time from 10:00am to leaving on the ride at 1:00pm but it's necessary due to the amount of riders and it gives us a chance to meet and look at the other motorcycles there.
This year's ride is a little different. The 3,095 Plus Freedom Ride is to honor all of our Heroes. You can sponsor a flag for anyone who has served in the military. Help us honor those who served during war or peace, during any conflict and whether they are still with us, retired from the military or if they gave their life in service to our nation. If you plan on attending you must register online ASAP and there are alot of choices that must be made PLEASE NOTE: Flags must be ordered by May 1, 2013 to have them in time for the ride. @ http://www.3095ride.com/
A short video if some of us pulling in back in 2011 see if you can find us? Hint; Am riding a rear and rarely seen anywhere else in the world "Yamaharley" LOL!!
Another video to give you a look at the size of this event, "There are no 99ers in this video" http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=Nn1QoMc2kwk&NR=1
Ride Rating: I guess Id say a 3 out of 5
This is surely a ride for thous that have ridden in formation at highway speeds and are completely confident and always aware of there surroundings at all times.
