Motorcycle Safety Class - Cleveland BMW

1/23/14   - Update   ** RSVP's are now closed. ** Class has currently exceeded  attendance capacity -  Please do not just show up unless you have pre- registered a RSVP as required by the dealership for this class!  Thank you.

Per BMW Motorcycles of Cleveland website: " On January 25th we will offer the first of our Winter Motorcycle Safety Course Series: Unsafe U.S. Highways for Motorcyclists. MSF Instructor and BMW Motorcycle Enthusiast Jerry Bruce will lead the course with guest speaker, Larry Cardo. Larry is an Iron-Butt long distance rider and has presented this power-point presentation at the BMW MOA national rally is past summer. It is a timely and important subject, and one of universal interest to motorcyclists. Our program will begin at 10 am with ample time for Q & A. We will serve lunch following the presentation. RSVP is required. We hope to see you here.
What better way to brush up on your skills and become a better rider than to sit in front of a warm fire and get some valuable information? The program begins at 9:45 with coffee and donuts and will end around noon with lunch. There will be ample time for questions and answers. This seminar is open to all riders new and experienced but, participation is limited. Please RSVP and reserve your seat. This seminar is not sponsored or endorsed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation."

    Janice Williams (moving your post)
I went to the program wasn't quite what I expected but still got some information about trying to get more awareness of motorcyclists of trying to fix some of these safety problems on the road. I ended up with a free ticket to the bike show next week!

I enjoyed the seminar. Lots of good feedback to the presenter too. Well worth fighting the weather this morning to attend.

Just came from a friend's house.... roads are terrible, visibility is bad, too. Sorry to miss seeing everyone, but I've decided to stay off the roads. Be careful!

Sorry to miss the motorcycle safety class. I got 5 minutes into my expected 1 hour drive to there and decided it was not a good trip for the sake of automobile safety.

I just found out last minute that I have to cancel. I sent Dale an email regarding this. Perhaps someone can take my seat. Good luck & good learning!

You can never learn enough about cycle safety. Hopefully the roads will be ice free enough to ride to this event.
