A note from NetSquared Boston about this week's events

A former member
This is a special announcement about two NetSquared events this week. I've also included ways you can help communities recover from Hurricane Sandy.

NetSquared Events

Do you want to meet other people from NetSquared while talking about your socially responsible technology ideas and projects? Are you in the mood for dim sum? If so, join us tomorrow at 1 PM at Hei La Moon. We'll explore ways NetSquared can be a resource for Boston's nonprofit tech community.

Do you want to bring your fundraising back from the dead? Then check out the Ignite presentations at the 501 Tech Club Spooktacular next Wednesday. The event will include networking.

Hurricane Sandy

Does the phrase "Hurricane Hack" catch your interest? You can use your tech skills to help communities that have been hit by Hurricane Sandy. For more information, visit this website.

One of my Twitter contacts has set up a Facebook page for hurricane relief resources which includes donation opportunities. Liz Kolster also posted a link to NetSquared's forum about a Facebook page for New Jersey residents.

I'd also like to emphasize the importance of donating to organizations working in Haiti. Haiti has been damaged very badly. Here is a link to one organization working there.

P.S. I'll resume our regular email schedule later this weekend.
