Our big question for Chicago: How do we build synergies across events, projects/organizations and neighborhoods? How will we move the culture towards openness and collaboration? That's our first Chicago Drumbeat Session in a nutshell! We'll set the stage with an overview of the Mozilla Drumbeat Initiative then we'll dig into deeper questions and strategies for collaboration and field-building as we get ready for the
Sept 12: Net Squared Chicago COUNTS camp (spearheaded by our own Heidi Massey). We're inspired by the Drumbeat focus on collaboration and the open web, and #net2chi has always been about a new way of working together. Organizers: Kara Carrell is a Board Member for

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
