Before we take a short break for the holidays, we would like to cordially invite you to a session focusing on digital excellence and digital access issues in the Chicago community. Agenda is currently being finalized, but areas of discussion will include
- News and updates about DexCon, a late October conference focusing on digital literacy and digital excellence issues,
- Some great non-profit/tech initiatives, including the Chicago Broadband Challenge; and
- A strategy session with the Community Male Empowerment Project - if you missed our August meeting, you are more than welcome to attend.
If you have an interest in social media and community organizing; technology and underserved populations, or if you want to join a group focused on larger-reaching issues around tech and social good, we cordially invite you to attend. TRC Senior Village is within walking distance of two Green Line stops (51st Street and Garfield-Green) which are approximately 30 minutes from downtown. For more detailed transit information, please visit http://www.transitchicago.com
In addition - food and refreshments will be provided for participants. Hope to see you there!
