DexCon - See Details for RSVP Information

Although this isn't an "official" NetChi event, I thought I would go ahead and announce DexCon - a conference focusing on digital access issues for Chicago's Communities. The CDAA has been and continues to be one of our strongest allies; we're doing this to show our support and to encourage those of you who are interested to attend.

A quick note - RSVPing to this notice will not RSVP you for the event; for more information and to reserve your seat [masked] or[masked], or e-mail [masked].

Thanks for reading - hope to see you there.

Thanks to all of you for your interest in the 2nd C.D.A.A. Digital Excellence Conference and Technology Fair this Saturday, November 10, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts, 915 East 60th Street, Chicago, Illinois 60637 in the 9th Floor Performance Penthouse. You can pre-register by clicking on this link: http://dexconconference.bpt.me. Please attend, because I do think you will get a lot out of attending the only conference in Chicago providing information on technology skills and neighborhood technology access activities. And please pass the information on to your networks. As well, don't forget that we will be hosting the NetSquared Chicago group at our new Creative Technology Training Center, 6353 South Cottage Grove Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60637. We will be hosting training classes and providing media services and much more at our Creative Technology Training Center. So we'll see you at the conference on Saturday.

Thanks Gordon for the shout-out on the conference. Since seating at the Logan Center For The Arts 9th Floor Performance Penthouse is limited, those who want to attend should rsvp at [masked]. Also there is a fee for the conference of $59.00 but because this is a community event, we are accepting donations of any amount above $25.00. Put simply, if you want to come and can't afford $59.00, you can pay $25.00 at the door. If you want to come and can pay $59.00, please do as it helps us defray the costs of the conference. You can pay via Paypal in advance to [masked] or [masked]. Both should work with Paypa. Or you can pay by credit card or debit card at the door the day of the event. Any questions about this, call[masked] or[masked]-0249. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you at the conference.
