Social changemakers and technological forerunners come together for free drinks, snacks and good cheer at Net Tuesday events to mix, swap stories and ideas, build new relationships, and reinforce the online NetSquared (http://www.netsquared...) community.
Please join us for a new twist in NetSquared Third Tuesdays with the first episode of... "Pimp my Nonprofit." This month we'll be gathering to help out Trees for the Future, and one other "victim" if we have enough time, with an interactive brainstorm session for how to take their tech strategy and online communication efforts to the next level. Through this case-study oriented conversation, others will have a chance to learn vicariously from some of the leading technology and communications experts in DC. Thus we encourage any consultants and geeks in the audience to show up and strut your stuff.
Trees for the Future is an organization that has been the steward of planting trees throughout the world since the early 1970's. Through a people to people action plan, we restore tree cover to the world's most degraded lands. Planting trees helps keep people productive on their lands, preserving their traditional livelihoods and cultures for generations to come.
See you Tuesday, 7:00 at Affinity Lab in Adams Morgan.
