Hello NetSquared DC Members,

ICT4ID's March meeting is on the topic of ICT Capacity Building. Please
check out the event announcement below. Hope to see some of you there.

Information and communication technology (ICT) capacity building is a
lot more than imparting technical knowledge through trainings. At its
core, ICT capacity building is an exercise in empowerment. Come listen
to three experts share their experiences from the field in a panel
discussion on best practices for successful ICT capacity building projects.

This month's panel discussion is co-hosted by ICT for International
Development Meetup and World Bank's e-Development Thematic Group.

Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 5:30 PM

I Street Building, 1850 I street Room I 1-200, Washington, DC 20006

5:30-6:00 pm: Meet and Greet
6:00-7:00 pm: Panel Discussion

Kate Hughes from Conservation International, Oleg Petrov from the World
Bank, and Usha Venkatachallam from Appropriate IT.
