Stepping down as co-organizer

Hello Net2DC community!

The next meetup on 10/16 marks the end of my second year as a Net2DC co-organizer and third year as a member.  After having taken on new commitments, I'll be stepping down as co-organizer this month.  While it's always a bit sad to end a role that has been so enriching, I'm incredibly excited to see the new energy and perspective that others will bring to the co-organizer role.  (Roshani will be in touch about this before long!)

I cannot think of a more welcoming community for those concerned with multiplying social impact through technology.  The presenters always bring a distinct passion for the projects they share with the group. GoodSpeaks, Care2, and Alliance of Hope for Suicide Survivors come to mind as just a few of the well-respected organizations represented throughout many memorable events we've had the pleasure of hosting.

That's not to mention the longtime support of DC's premier entrepreneurial work space and community, Affinity Lab, for which I've been sincerely appreciative.  And most importantly, you all!  Net2DC members turnout to meetups with unparalleled insight, inquisitiveness, and motivation.

Lastly, I'd like to extend my appreciation for the hard work of co-organizer, Roshani, who has been the primary source of Net2DC's excellent event programming.  I look forward to the many meetups yet to come.

Speak of which, on Tuesday 10/16, Net2DC hosts speakers Raj Aggarwal of Provoc, Ryan Ozimek of PICnet, and Vajaah Parker of Web Development Group to discuss the ever-pertinent topic: website design with your audience in mind.  I hope to see you there!
