Thanks to our own Alan Gutierrez, Net2NO is proud to have two very special guests join us on Tuesday, November 11. Andrew Turner is the man who wrote the book on NeoGeography...no really, he actually wrote the book Introduction to NeoGeography. Along with Francine Stock, the Visual Resources Curator at Tulane University, Andrew and Alan were the winning team for Net Squared's mashup challenge. We will take a look at what lies ahead for the geospacial web, what emerging tools are out there, and see what is beyond GoogleMaps.
There of course is no price of admission but the room fee is $150 which includes the alcohol so donations to offset the costs of the space would be greatly appreciated!
Hi David-
Look forward to seeing you there! The venue is handicap accesible--there are no stairs, and you can usually find parking very close. If your friend rides w/ you, you can even drop them off at the door, and then it's a short walk to the back room. So please feel free to bring a guest!
Thanks!
Given the topic, we need a map! LOL I would like to bring a guest but wonder if the meeting is accessible to someone who is on crutches and has troulbe with stairs or long walks.
