What do you hope to achieve in 2009? Learn a new skill, start a new company, find a new way to connect with people using social media? Join us for the very first New Orleans Net Tuesday of the year, and share your vision for 2009 with the group. How will Louisiana 2.0 evolve in the coming year? Where are we headed? Find out what other people have planned, learn about opportunities for the tech community from across the state, and tell us what Net2NO can do to help you achieve your goals.

If you've ever attended a Net2NO meetup, you already know what a talented and dynamic group of people our members are. If you haven't, now is a great time to find out. Don't miss this chance to get to know everyone a little better (and vice versa) by participating in the first whole group conversation since our very first meetup. The format will be basically the same: 6-7 is drinking and networking, 7-8 is the presentation and discussion part of the evening, then another hour of casual networking (and drinking!) from 8-9.

(Rumor has it Damien is working to secure a speaker--someone very influential, famous, knowledgeable and entertaining to boot--who we would be both honored and very excited to have. However, it's top secret, and I'm not authorized to disclose additional information at this time. We'll just have to wait and see!)

Once again, we'll meet in the back room of the Bridge Lounge, and you're welcome to show up anytime between 6 and 9. Free, open to the public, and always a good time. Invite your friends! (Did we mention there are free drinks?) Hope to see you there!

    It was fantastic. Definitely the best Net2NO yet, which says a lot, since they've all been great events so far. Thanks to everyone who came out, and to Chris Schultz and Damien Lamanna for getting such an awesome speaker. It was great to meet all the new members, and encouraging to see a lot of last month's new members came back. Can't wait till next month!
