Dear Net2NOers,

You're not going to believe this, but right now you are reading a genuine follow-up email to Tuesday's fantastic meeting at our new venue, Le Chat Noir. To quell your doubts, I offer proof:

Net2NO meetings now at Le Chat Noir, and livestreaming at NewOrleansTech.Net
The good folks at NewOrleansTech.Net have generously volunteered to handle the Livestreaming of Net2NO meetings, and they started with this past one. So if you have to be somewhere else during our meetings, you'll be able to tune in at to watch them live. I'm sure past meetings will be archived somewhere on the site as well, so if you missed this past one, you can check out our new Le Chat Noir digs soon. Sign up for their mailings as well!

Thanks again to TribeCon for sponsoring our first whole bunch of drinks! And thanks to all of you Net2NOers for that awesome brainstorming session for Net2NO panel ideas. Please go vote for your favorite panel before Monday at 5pm!

And make sure to buy tickets now. Remember, use code Net2NO for 25% off your TribeCon ticket, and if you buy by Saturday you'll get an extra TribeCon ticket free! Use it to split the cost of the ticket with a friend, or use it to invite someone into the fold in a very cool way.

You should check out the details, and buy your ticket now right here.

Tulane Business Forum
Jerry Lenaz let us know about the Tulane Business Forum focusing on Corporate Consciousness. A lot of big names in the corporate world are coming down, including John Mackey, Chairman and CEO of Whole Foods, so check it out!

The New Orleans Web Expo will be this weekend at the Hilton at 333 St. Charles Ave. Tickets are only $20 for each afternoon. Saturday focuses on web 2.0 and mobile apps and Sunday focuses on social media, content management systems, and internet dating. Our own Marc Juneau will be speaking about Wordpress on Sunday. Also, on Saturday at 10 am they will be screening the film Mardi Gras - Made in China about the outsourcing of Mardi Gras bead-making to China.

Help out Project Green Light
How many New Orleanians does is take to change enough light bulbs to reduce New Orleans' carbon usage by 1.5 million pounds? As of this moment: 1570. Green Light New Orleans only needs 174 more votes to catch up to the leader to win the Brighter Planet Project Fund. Net2NO could easily make up that difference! Go vote now to help them out!

Notes from Neil of Destination Broadmoor
Neil Takemoto took great notes of our discussion and posted them on the Destination Broadmoor ning. Check them out, and if people reply to that they are interested in following up on some of the ideas we talked about, I will put the team in contact with each other.

That's it!
