New Orleans, LA
Thanks everybody for the great turn out at last night's meeting!
Matt Wisdom gave us an inside look into the city's current tech infrastructure and what the city is trying to do to improve and stabilize its IT. We will certainly be keeping tabs on this issue, as I know a lot of our members want to connect with the city's IT department when it gets up on its feet. So thanks Matt for the talk, and keep us posted!

So create an account if you offer any of those kinds of services, and remember to point people to http://localsource.it the next time you're asked about where to find those services in New Orleans!
Ruby Nuby founder Malcolm Arnold skyped in to tell us about their efforts to partner professional Ruby on Rails developers with at-risk youth to build long-lasting opportunities for the kids and give some local businesses, artists, & chefs some great websites along the way. To play a part in those efforts, join the Ruby Nuby meetup group and make sure to vote for them in the British Airways contest! You can also get in touch with James Thompson (@plainprogrammer) for more info or to connect with the efforts locally.
