D&D Next - Caves of Chaos

You're asked by the friendly Gnoll King to rescue his daughter. He's sure it was the kobolds who took her. Or was it the goblins? One thing's for sure: nobody trusts the orcs.
This is a starter adventure for the D&D Next system, suitable for beginners as well as more experienced players who are interested in the successor of our beloved D&D 4E. We will try to play without battle grid, and this adventure is open to diplomacy and other non-combat approaches.
Pre-generated first level character sheets will be available.

Desired group: 4-5 players.

Recommended you bring: pencil, standard dice

The only way to ensure a spot in this game is to answer the question in the RSVP stating that. For any other questions about game particulars, contact the GM: Steven

Players so far, in order of RSVP: Brendan van de Bos, Sanne Krijnen, Jana +1, Herman Duyker (FULL)

DARK HERESY second edition BETA - The heamitite cathedral

They act as Acolytes of an Inquisitor, at the front line of a great and secret war to root out dangers that imperil all of humanity. Should they fail, entire worlds, systems, or sectors may fall to endless night.

Desired group:  4-5 players. As this is a beta game experience will not matter and the purpose is to have fun.

Recommended you bring:  2 D10 and pen or paper. Premade characters will be provided. pen, paper or a premade character.

Classic D&D (1991 D&D rules cyclopedia)  - Night's Dark Terror

Barely one day's march from Kelven, the uncharted
tracts of the Dymrak forest conceal horrors enough
to freeze the blood of civilized folk. Those who have
ventured there tell how death comes quick to the
unwary-for the woods at night are far worse than
any dungeon.

Desired group: 3-5 players, pc's lvl 2-4. Premade characters are available. Rules are used but as basic and lightly as possible. Suited for novices and veterans alike.

Special note: In essence "Night's Dark Terror" is a mini-campaign so it will most probably need several meetups to bring it to completion.

Recommended you bring: The usual D&D dice. Pen and paper might be useful as well.

The only way to ensure a spot in this game is to answer the question in the RSVP stating that. For any other questions about game particulars, contact the GM: Raymond

Pathfinder - Master of the Fallen Fortress

This is a dungeon-based Pathfinder module designed for 1st level characters.

The ruined siege castles outside Absalom have long beckoned adventurers looking to make a name for themselves. Now an earthquake has cracked open one of these fabled ruins, and its lost mysteries and fantastic treasures lie exposed for the first time in centuries. But the tower's empty halls once more echo with living footfalls, and a new master has claimed the Fallen Fortress as his own.

Can the PCs find a way to get inside its shattered walls? What ancient dangers and fresh threats will they encounter inside its crumbling chambers? And will the PCs be able to defeat the current Master of the Fallen Fortress?

Werewolf: The Forsaken - Thorns also and thistles

The Ozarks in Arkansas are not an easy place to survive. Cold and isolated mountains where people stay in close packs as families. Some of them are wolf blooded. People who are family to one of us, the Uratha. We are guardians of the flesh and ephemeral, neither and both we run free. Violence is our way it is natural to us, because we have no equal. We are the forsaken; those that have killed our father and seek forgiveness of our mother the moon. The light and shadow collide and we are the unwanted judicators. We are a pack bound through the blood we have spilled, closer than mere men could understand. Tonight we hunt, and it is a fierce hunt. The scent is that of our lost sister, and tonight we will bathe in the blood we spill together to find her tonight, no matter the prey.

Werewolf the Forsaken is a game where you play the titular creatures. They are the primal defenders of the spiritual and real world; and everything hates them for it. They are primal creatures with an powerful sense of duty and honor; there is no loyalty stronger than that of a pack. Much like wolves they will fight and even draw blood, but no matter the inner conflict the pack stands united. That is the appeal of playing Werewolf, knowing that no matter what your pack will always have your back.

Desired group: 4-6 players. Four characters are the pack, and there are two more that help the pack in this story. The story will involve some philosophical theme`s and the opportunity to roleplay some truly primal anger; so more experienced players will find themselves easier. But don't worry if you're completely inexperienced! This story is entirely newbie friendly :)

Recommended you bring: Pen, Paper, D10`s (I will plenty myself though!) and your best Arkansas accent.

The only way to ensure a spot in this game is to answer the question in the RSVP stating that. For any other questions about game particulars, contact the GM: Jan

Players so far, in order of RSVP: Deborah, Lazar Jovic, Gunnar Lapoutre, Varydian, David Joiner, Petra Fransen (FULL)

Desired group: 4-6 players of any experience level. This scenario is meant to introduce new players to the Pathfinder Society.

Recommended you bring: Pen, Paper, Polyhedral dice. If you have a level 1 Pathfinder Society character, bring its sheet and your Pathfinder Society number. Pre-generated characters will be provided as well.

The only way to ensure a spot in this game is to answer the question in the RSVP stating that. For any other questions about game particulars, contact the GM: Rolf

Paranoia XP - Foiled

You, as a (relatively new) Troubleshooter have been called on by the Computer to aid in an investigation. But is all as it seems? Everyone is out to get you, and you are out to get everyone. The dangers in Alpha Complex are rarely clear. Unless there's explosives involved.

Desired group: Any level, ideally 5-6 players.

Recommended you bring: Sanity, Pen and D20 (Pen and D20 can be provided)

The only way to ensure a spot in this game is to answer the question in the RSVP stating that. For any other questions about game particulars, contact the GM: Remy

Players so far, in order of RSVP: Shane Kerr, Jeroen, Michael Schuiling, Jack Shearman, Liane Gaasendam, Guillem Tourdeforce (FULL)

Pathfinder Society - The Confirmation

Almost all Pathfinders undergo extensive training for three or more years to learn the tricks of the trade, and their last test before graduating from the ranks of the initiates to the status of a full Pathfinder agent is the Confirmation, a special research project that involves considerable fieldwork and is designed to simulate the initiates' future work as a Pathfinder. Even the noteworthy field commissioned agents sometimes participate in such trials as a way to familiarize themselves with the Pathfinder Society’s rules and expectations. Although Confirmation is typically an individual affair, the society recently discovered a site on the Isle of Kortos that would be perfect for initiates but perhaps too dangerous to handle alone. Successfully uncovering this site’s secrets will not only contribute to the society’s body of knowledge but shape the exciting careers ahead for each of the prospective agents.

Desired group: 4-5 players, no experience needed.

Recommended you bring: You can bring a 1st or 2nd level character or use one of the pregenerated characters.

The only way to ensure a spot in this game is to answer the question in the RSVP stating that. For any other questions about game particulars, contact the GM: Auke

Players so far, in order of RSVP: Seraphimpunk, Vincent van Bergen, Rutger Katz, Ramsey, Stephen (FULL)

Can all the players (and the GM) that played Master of the Fallen Fortess at the meetup send me an email on [masked]? Then I can register the game on Paizo.com and get you all a chronicle sheet! :-)

Cheers to team Werewolf! Was an interesting afternoon, even though playing the only non-werewolf makes you only marginally more useful than the 4x4 :P

What Aleksander wanted to say is that it`s completely free! We are a donation-based organisation that runs of fairly low costs. We just want you all to get together and have some fun playing RPG's :)

      January 13, 2014

So heres a question. I'm looking at the time line and was wondering if I need to look at getting a hotel for that night. I'd be coming from Enschede and the last train leaves at 23:35

    January 11, 2014

    • Jan

Hey Vincent. The gaming itself is usualy done around 18 - 19. After that we go eat something and sometimes end up playing some silly card and board games. But rarely does it go on till that late, you should be fine :)

      January 12, 2014

    • Vincent

      Ah alright. thank you :)

      January 12, 2014

    January 10, 2014

I've never really done a table top game and am hoping to jump in and learn. Could anyone tell me what I should bring so I don't make a total newb spectacle of myself :)

    January 6, 2014

    • Simon

They sell sets of one of each. Though I know I will be bringing a box of dice to the game. Don't worry about dice, they will be a plenty. :)

    • Vincent

  • Eduard L.

Hi, Can you guys put me down for 'Pathfinder - Master of the Fallen Fortress'? Thanks

    January 8, 2014

Hi all! I'd love to join the 'Pathfinder Society - First steps' game. Seems appropriate for a first time at the Pathfinder table! :)

    January 3, 2014

  • seraphimpunk

    Ooh, pathfinder options!
Can I be switched to the confirmation table? I haven't played that scenario yet, no offense to the other table, but I've played first steps a few times too many anyway :)

    January 2, 2014
