!CANCELLED! World of Darkness: Nightmare at the Hill Manor

---

GURPS Lite - Disorderly Dwarven Dungeon of Drakore

A story about Dwarves fighting monsters inside a mountain. Includes Dwarf women with beards, Elves with rat scouts and some Shakespearean references that are not all too annoying. You will go to investigate the old City of Drakore. Some say that the dead buried under the city have finally risen to claim their revenge, while others speak of a Goblin invasion.

Recommended you bring: six-sided dice, pencil

Desired group: 4-6 players, since it is my second game maybe it's best for those who have not that much experience.

The only way to ensure a spot in this game is to answer the question in the RSVP stating that. For any other questions about game particulars, contact the GM: Liane

Players so far, in order of RSVP: Jaroen, Riccardo, Yurii and Ramsey.

---

Homebrew: Cosmic Puppets

Virginia, 1963.

Before the wedding, Ted Burton plans to meet his childhood buddies at their hometown, Millgate. Nevertheless, Millgate seems to have already planed something for them.

Based on the homonym novel by Phillip K. Dick —that you should NOT have read beforehand— this is a metaphysical adventure about dazed memories, restless research and twitching partners.

Recommended you bring: Pen and Paper and 2D10

Desired Group: 3 players, friendly for new players but preferably an age group of 18+

The only way to ensure a spot in this game is to answer the question in the RSVP stating that. For any other questions about game particulars, contact the GM: Guillem

Players so far, in order of RSVP: Bojan Tomic, Tamas, Ramon (FULL)

---

Paranoia XP: From the ground up

You, as a troubleshooter, have been tasked, by the almighty Computer, to bring a package to...  surface.
Can you survive?
Will you survive?
Who is surface?

Recommended you bring: Sanity, Pen and D20 (Pen and D20 can be provided)

Desired group: Any level of experience, 5 to (ideally) 6 players.

The only way to ensure a spot in this game is to answer the question in the RSVP stating that. For any other questions about game particulars, contact the GM: Remy

Players so far, in order of RSVP: DarylDutch, Lindsay, Lindsay +1, Steven Reiz, Jack Shearman, Wouter (FULL)

Traveller (MgT)Welcome Weary Traveller

You and your crew have arrived home in the Zendini system after many adventures and are greeted with the news that your boss, friend and mentor has died. He has left his worldly goods to you and the crew, but the reason for his death is as yet unexplained...

Recommended you bring:  Pen and Paper and  Dice (Characters, Pen and Dice can be provided)

Desired group: Any level of experience, 5  players.

The only way to ensure a spot in this game is to answer the question in the RSVP stating that. For any other questions about game particulars, contact the GM: Tim

Players so far, in order of RSVP: WildSurge, E. van der Harst, Radaghast Kary, Paul Hudson, Rok Cresnik (FULL)

Pathfinder: The Horn of Aroden

For months Taldor faction leader Lady Gloriana Morilla has mustered a small army to aid the Mendevian Crusade; however, without a powerful, unifying icon to rally around, progress is slow. When her agents learned of a dormant relic that might be awakened, she petitioned the Pathfinder Society for its aid in recovering this so-called Horn of Aroden, knowing that the Society would benefit from her army’s hastened arrival. The PCs travel to Brevoy, a fragmented land of dueling, cold, and conquest to secure this horn, though in doing so they join an ongoing plot of politics and intrigue.

Content in “The Horn of Aroden” also contributes directly to the ongoing storyline of the Taldor faction.

Recommended you bring: Pen and Paper and  Dice (Characters, Pen and Dice can be provided).

Desired Group: 3-6 player, bring valid Pathfinder characters (level 1-5) or play a pregen (GM will bring pregens).

The only way to ensure a spot in this game is to answer the question in the RSVP stating that. For any other questions about game particulars, contact the GM: Seraphimpunk

Players so far, in order of RSVP: Chantal Plantaz, Rolf Soldaat, Deborah, Brendan van den Bos, Tristan, Rasmus (FULL)

Bad news guys! The WoD game got cancelled due to private reasons. The GM offered to pass the game on to any GM wanting to run it instead of her. Either way, if anyone feels like running a game last minute contact me or Tim! You`d be a big rescue :)

    • STEFFY

I prefered the other game so I'll canceled, sorry, I will come next month.

I just found out about the game being cancelled, sorry about that: I'll take advantage of the change to wear off my cold in bed, I'll see you next month !

      May 11

  • Paul K.

I'm not coming this sunday. The Drarf Fortresses of Iron Flood will have to wait till next month.

    May 8

    • Paul K.

You can count on it. And this way, i'll have more time to iron out the fine details. I've been making Cardboard tables yesterday. Now i can make even more props.

For anyone who still wants to attend, don`t be discouraged by the fact all games are full. There are always RPD teams to run a game, and if enough people apply I`ll make sure another game shows up :)

Done, and Tamas took your spot at the homebrew.

Is it normal that people are not interested in new campaigns?

    May 3

    • Paul K.

Thanks, everything looks fine, except you forgot to make to bold the sentence starts.

      May 6

    • Paul K.

And don't worry about it. I still have so much more to work on for the campaign anyway. For example: did you know i just printed out 120 pages of my D&D 3.87 book, just for use in this campaign (and to show off ofcourse). Also, i need a 3.5 PHB and MM, which to my sorrow i do not have in paper form. If i'd just have a laptop that would fix everything, but unfortunately my ex took that when we devorsed :S

Is anyone bringing Cards against humanity for the after game?

  • Brendan van den B.

Can I play a pregen Character in the Pathfinder game please? I don't have the means (books, D&D insider) to create a pathfinder society character myself. Still want to dip my toes into Pathfinder ;) thanks

Is there info on (rules) complexity from the rpg's mentioned in this months meetup? I'm especially interested in:
Paranoia XP, Traveller T5 and World of Darkness

    May 1

    • Jan

Both Traveler and Paranoia are ran by experts, and the games are quite simple, so you should not have any problem.

Utrecht here as well. Just guessing, how much time may it take to arrange a meeting? I could give you a hand.

Anyone interested in my game? I've been working non-stop to get it right.

    April 29

  • Brendan van den B.

I would like to try Pathfinder. I don't have my own character so a pre-gen would be much appreciated ;)

    • Jan

Hey Paul, I`m in charge of updating the site. And seeing it was quite a lively weekend with kingsday it took a slight delay. It's there now, let me know if you want to add anything to it :)

      April 28

    • Paul K.

Ow, i didn't know that. Well thanks for posting it. I hope people are interested...

We have 3 games so far, and there is a pathfinder game in the making. That means there is plenty more room for anyone who wants to don the mantle of awesome and GM something :D Send Tim a message, he`ll set you right up!

    April 28

  • Rolf S.

Hoping to see some pathfinder society on the menu.

    April 15

    • seraphimpunk

likewise, sent one when the meetup was announced. no response yet.

      April 24

    • Tim

There are a number of pathfinder GM's who are eager to run games (which is great!) but we also want to make sure that Pathfinder is but one of the options on the menu. This was also policy when we used to be official RPGA GM's and run official RPGA game tables (many years ago). One notable exception to this rule was a single game day about 3 years ago, where every table ran the same (4e) game. Weirdly enough when the players got together afterwards for drinks and compared notes. With the same characters locations, and from the same 'script', everyone had played a different game (and had fun!).

      April 25

Playing catch up with GM's - will indeed be in touch today.

    DMing again - Paranoia XP!

    1 · April 22

  • Paul K.

I'm going to DM this time. It's a campaign i've been working on for over 2 years and have DMd it before. I call it Dwarven Fortresses of Iron Flood.

    1 · April 20

    • Paul K.

Also, i am ALL for a homegame! But i would need players and a play location for that.

      April 21

    • Ben

We look forward to seeing how your game goes. As for a regular group, you should check out our message boards for sure, and post your interests there. Also, use the monthly events to get to know some folks. I'm sure you'll be able to put together a home game in no time, especially if you're willing to GM. Good luck!

      April 21

  • Jos K.

I'm curious, is there a set ratio of Amsterdam v. Utrecht RPG meetups?
Utrecht we can easilly reach, Amsterdam is a lot more hassle, and a lot lot more cost.. We loved the Utrecht meetup in January but since then they are all in Amsterdam...

    April 7

    • Jos K.

      Thanks Ben for your explanation.

      April 14

    • Jos K.

Enter posts, meh. Thanks for the explanation Ben, if I had a clue what organising involves I could see me being willing to do it but I really don't know the first thing about it.. will just have to look out for it for now..

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
