English LARPer, Tabletop role player, board gamer and current student at de haagse hogeschool.

Are you are looking for us to help you join or create a regular gaming group? What is your availability?

Not currently.

What RPG games/systems do you prefer? Are there any games you are interested in trying out or playtesting?

I have played Pathfinder a few time and Vampire (I think The Masquerade) once. I'm happy to try any system as long as I can have some help with it to start!

On a scale of rules complexity/depth with 1 being rules-light and 10 being rules-heavy, how 'crunchy' do you like a roleplaying rules system to be?

6, I like there to be a defined rules set with some room for manouvre! Ability to have added items and bonuses etc which may be outside the scope of rules. Imaginative games are more fun than rules-heavy games.

Do you feel able to be the GM/DM for a regular group, or GM a one-off game at a Meetup?

I have never run a game, and do not feel confident doing so.

Have you ever been a GM/DM (GameMaster/DungeonMaster)? If so what systems did/do you run?

Hi Anna, The Hague has a board game club named Thanatos. It meets every two weeks on fridaynight at het Tohuis, De Horre 2 in Leidschendam. We start at 8 and usually play untill midnight. The group has mostly Dutch speaking members, but most of them are able to speak English and we regularly play with English speaking people. Next meeting is this friday. For non members there is a 2 euro entrance fee. The club has a big stock of games, but you can also bring games to play.

Hi Anna. Welcome to the Guild! If you're looking for a new group, be sure to check out our message boards, and feel free to post yourself. You can also look at the Membership Map in the Pages section, and contact gamers near you via their profiles. You'll want to edit your own profile though, as your Location says Amsterdam, and you say you're in Den Haag. Others won't know where to find you :-). If you can make the trip, the best place to meet new gamers is at one of our monthly events. Cheers!
