Probably no more than once a month, at the regular meetups. I can partake in and run one-shots in various systems but probably couldn't keep up with a campaign right now.
I don't really have any preference, I have most experience with Pathfinder but I've enjoyed all the systems I've played/run. I will occasionally want to try out a new system I like the look of or even some little homebrews I put together.
1, I'm not adverse to rules heavy systems but it feels clunky. If I'm running a rules heavy system (eg HERO or GURPS) I'll make the players faithfully stick to the rules during character creation and then promptly drop all semblance of rules the moment play starts. I consider it a good session if no-one has rolled a dice throughout.
I can GM oneshots, but a campaign is a little too much work right now.
I've run DnD 3.5, Pathfinder, Cthulutech and Traveller but my old group was capricious so I've experience preparing a game in a few more systems (HERO, GURPS and some homebrew systems).
I've been a gamer (both RP and board games) for 4 years, starting with a DnD 3.5 Game I ran for members of my university's games society. I'm from the UK originally and enjoy all manner of RP systems and board games.
