Are you are looking for us to help you join or create a regular gaming group? What is your availability?

I haven't played games regularly for a very long time. I'd be eager to join a group in Utrecht/Zeist region on a semi-regular basis. I have a modest collection of board and card games that I'd happily contribute if needed.

What RPG games/systems do you prefer? Are there any games you are interested in trying out or playtesting?

I really enjoy games with strong story mechanics and heavy interaction with other players. I played a lot of Call of Cthulhu RPG when I was younger and loved the sanity system in that. I'm always eager to try out new things though.

On a scale of rules complexity/depth with 1 being rules-light and 10 being rules-heavy, how 'crunchy' do you like a roleplaying rules system to be?

I'm pretty flexible with the complexity of rules. If the rules get in the way of the "immersion" of the game I guess it can be a bit of a pain, but in all reality, as long as it makes sense I'm pretty comfortable with complex systems.

Do you feel able to be the GM/DM for a regular group, or GM a one-off game at a Meetup?

I'm inexperienced at GM'ing in general but would like to get the hang of it over time. I'd be happy to GM every now and again (as long as people are patient with my inexperience :), I'm not sure if I could commit to a campaign over too many sessions, but would be happy with one offs or short campaigns.

Have you ever been a GM/DM (GameMaster/DungeonMaster)? If so what systems did/do you run?

Never done it before, but intend to go to the GM training session in Utrecht later this month

Hi, I live in Zeist and am working at Utrecht Univeristy. I'm originally from New Zealand but have been living in Europe for about the last 3 years . I really enjoy table top gaming in general and am eager to give most things a go.

What George is saying about this Meetup Group

This was my first meetup and I thought it was a great experience with a lot of nice, hardworking people. I look forward to future meetups!
