Already found a group via the Meet-up. It is THAT effective :)
I've played multiple games so far ranging from rule lawyer D&D3rd, D&D4th to almost complete freeform Fiasco, and love all if it. Variety is the spice of life!
I'd have to go with 4. Rules are there to support a system and good rules make for good systems. It it however the players and their story (or antics!) that make a game to be remembered.
I've run a few Fiasco games so far and they all have been fun, we'll see if I can also do a proper GM in the oncoming months.
There is this old 3rd D&D session that I once ran but will not reveal (Stay down you undead baboons!!!!). Next to that I've only run some Fiasco games which turned out horribly great.
I've been a fan of fantasy for about half of my life. played in multiple rpg groups (D&D3/4, Das Schwarze Auge, Necessary Evil and now Vampire). This group is for my roleplaying off-days :)
A good place to find like minded that share a passion for gaming. Heck they even let me run a game there!
