The RSVP Game Preference Policy

When you RSVP for a Guild event, you will usually be asked to state which of the listed games you wish to play at the event. This will result in you being immediately given a seat at the table, or placed on a Waiting List.

We have a waiting list system because people will often change their RSVP at the last minute, or just not show up. In those cases, Waiting List people get seats at the table. If that doesn't happen, well, that's why we ask people to state several preferences, so that they might get their next favoured game. Barring that, we have open slots in a couple of games, feel free to change your RSVP if you want to be taken off the waiting list and guaranteed a slot in the games with openings.

If you reeeealy wanted the game you RSVPd for, but were too late and got on the waiting list, there isn't much we can do. We have had people leave the event because they didn't get the game they wanted. That's their prerogative. It's always good to RSVP early and check back on occasion to see if something's changed. We also usually have backup games that aren't on the site, in case attendance is much higher than expected and we need to set them up last-minute.
