ICC: Pricing Your Work Competitively in a Tough Economy

Save the date, October 7, for a return of our Pricing Workshop, once again led by Tony Fons. One of our most informative sessions in years past, we'll revisit the topic to help attendees determine how to price their work in this tumultuous economy. We'll compare, anonymously, your best estimates for work in a variety of areas, then discuss how our pricing fits in with others in our area, what client expectations are for pricing, and strategies for keeping pricing at competitive rates.
Reserve your place and pay using the Paypal link, payments to [masked] at $24 per person. Please be sure to add your meal choice in the "Instructions to Merchant" section of the Paypal transaction: Chicken Confetti with Spinach, Basa Sole Picatta, or Vegetarian Pasta with Mushrooms, Artichokes & Sundried Tomatoes.
Reservation Deadline is Thursday, September 30, by end of day. To cancel, you must do so by this time or your payment will be forfeited. Our mission is to share ideas in a relaxed casual forum. Network and make new friends, treat yourself to a nice meal and enjoy the presentation. We hope to see you there.

discussion was state of the economy and state of the arts... creative arts, that is. if you couldn't make it, you missed a really nice time.

It was really nice to have a "more intimate" discussion on this topic. As a "freelancer" or sole proprietor of a design or design-related business, we all feel really isolated from time to time. It was helpful to hear how other's businesses were doing and some of the ways that people were adapting and changing to this poor economy...AND it was great to visit with friends last night!!!
