Introduction

What level German do you speak?

Fluent - I learned German as an exchange student to Berlin (West) from August 1981-August 1982. I later minored in Germanistik at Penn State.

Wie lange wohnst Du schon in der Naehe von Philadelphia?/How long have you lived in the Philadelphia area?

I returned to Philadelphia in November 1992 after spending several years in Washington, DC and live in the City near the Art Museum and Boat House Row.

Woher kommst Du?/Where are you from originally?

St. Davids, PA about 12 miles west of Center City (Philadelphia), graduated from Radnor High School and Penn State University. I am a fifth generation Philadelphian of mostly Irish decent although my great great grandfather was a Berliner.
