Introduction

I'm excited to have the Doylestown Stammtisch up and running now! I learned German as a student and on an exchange program in the 80's. I am now teaching German in a high school. The Stammtisch helps keep my German up to par.

What level German do you speak?

Ich koennte mal ziemlich gut Deutsch sprechen, leider habe ich viel verlernt. Es is schon fast 20 Jahre seit ich die Gelegenheit haette, richtig Deutsch zu reden.

Wie lange wohnst Du schon in der Naehe von Philadelphia?/How long have you lived in the Philadelphia area?

Ich habe seit Geburt in der Naehe von Philadelphia gewohnt. Inzwischen habe ich ein Jahr im Schwarzwald gewohnt (1988/89) und ein Jahr im Rom (1992/93) studiert.

Woher kommst Du?/Where are you from originally?

Ich komme aus Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
