“Music for Social Change” -- Tom Neilson, Progressive Folk Singer

NOSHA will be hosting Tom Neilson, folk singer and performer, known for his warm, funny political satire and commentary via song. He’ll feature his latest album, “It’s a Crime to Tell the Truth”.

We will be asking for a $10 donation and there will be a cash bar available.

"...does a great job of reminding people of what is really important...." ~Michael Stock, WLRN, Miami, FL

"Tom is fabulous; politically cutting-edge, incisive, warm, & very funny. His raucous political satire & social commentary, quick wit, & pointed humor had everyone laughing & engaged." ~Cathy Gilbert, Miami Dade Green Party

"People are still talking about Tom's performance, which brought just the right balance of biting political commentary, humor, personal storytelling, and memorable music to our house concert. His songs, his voice, and his guitar wrapped it all up into one great package."

~Vicki Ryder, South Florida Raging Grannies

*** This event is open to all, so please feel free to bring friends who may not be part of NOSHA, but who enjoy a good time and good music.

The pleasure was all mine. Charlotte and Rose did a perfect job and Tom Neilson was excellent. There were a lot of great songs, and I'm glad I got to buy a CD with my favorite one. The people at the bar also deserve kudos.

Really a wonderful show with excellent lyrics that many humanists would love! Many thanks to Tom for letting us host him for a night and to NOLA visitor Hugo for his enthusiasm for our efforts. We hope everyone had a great time!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
