I was pleasantly surprised by this experience, it was a lot different than how I had pictured it in my mind. There were tons of tour groups that came through to see the tomb and asked us questions about the work we were doing. I really enjoyed interacting with the visitors and explaining the project. The weather was warm but not unbearably hot, and since we were working with water we got misted a few times which was not unwelcome. It was nice seeing the new NOSHA faces and working with the Save Our Cemeteries and Hands On New Orleans crew, everyone was a pleasure to work with. Looking forward to the next one.

Message from Save Our Cemeteries re: parking:
"We will meet at the entrance to the cemetery on Basin Street, 9 am.Cemetery doesn't have a street number, but it is at the corner of St. Louis and Basin Streets. The tourist info center is next door, but we are not allowed to let volunteers park there. I apologize, but the building owners are very strict about their lot. Street parking may be available and there is also a parking garage on Rampart Street."
