Hi Douglas, Obviously you have contact with other non-religious folks in USA. What is the general feeling about the outcome of the Libyan conflict?

Without doubt Gadafi along with many other tyrants around the middle east are bad guys. However when I see crowds of men going down in prayer and shouting Allah Akbar and women in burkas talking about their idea of "freedom" I cannot help wondering if something worse might replace the present regimes. I hope my worries don't materialise.

Welcome Douglas! We meet every other Wednesday. The next meetup with all the details will be posted soon. We've been reading "The God Delusion" and discussing different chapters.
