"Slaughterhouse Five" at FringeNYC

Billy Pilgrim escapes death in WWII then wakes up with a pornstar on the planet Tralfamadore. After aliens show him the meaning of life, Billy returns home to NY and preaches their philosophy. Based on the novel by Kurt Vonnegut.

Whether or not you red the book in high school, you can join a group to see this story of WWII, time travel and space aliens live on stage, presented by the True False Theater Company, as part of the popular FringeNYC festival.

Half of the tickets purchased were unclaimed last night. Ticketholders were asked to *text* me in case of problems close to showtime.

There's been a great response to this meetup. Discount tickets are sold out. Participants who have not purchased discount tickets may still buy advance tickets at Ticketweb or Fringe Central. Details above on this page. Tickets will probably be available at the door for $18.

Hi- unfortunately, I'm no longer able to attend. I had purchased an advanced discount ticket. If you can give it to someone, please do. Apologies for the late notice.

Jonathan, Wed night is the only night that is an unchangeable work night for me. Will u be doing (I hope!!) another Fringe event? I'm going to (be....ha ha)"Naked In Alaska" so at least I get to the Fest. Plz do another one!

I totally understand, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll host a movie/play weekend event in the next couple of months. Yours are my favorite Brainiac events (besides mine of course) :)

Geez Jonathan....Now I have to wait for your ONE Fringe meet-up next yr. Well worth waiting for bec I had so much fun last yr. The play was hilarious, dinner with the grp was even more fun, and a few of us hanging out after the show and going for a walk on a beautiful summer night was even MORE fun (we couldn't find you!). Please don't make it an Aug 2014 Wednesday!
Do you have any other non-Fringe weekend events planned in the next couple of months?

    July 31, 2013

    • jonathan

Last year, I got caught up talking to all the Fringe regulars who were in the front rows, some of whom would have been sold-out if not for my ticket stash.
From now until the closing night party, it's hard for me to process anything non-Fringe.

Purchased my ticket. Looking forward to meeting folks on Aug 14.
