A Public Lecture by Jason Kendall: Doing Astrophotography for Free

A Public Lecture by Jason Kendall: Astrophotography for Free
A Public Lecture at the Stamford Observatory Friday, February 21
Free for members of the Museum, $3 for non-members.

If you've ever wondered how you can take pictures of the sky, and don't know where to start, then this is a great place to begin. Suitable for kids of all ages, if you bring your laptop or computer, I'll show you how to use free online observatories to take great pictures of the sky.

After the lecture, join us up on the rooftop for a view of the heavens through a huge telescope!

This presentation is suitable for the general public, and kids over 12. We'll provide free posters and handouts from NASA.

From NYC it doesn't seem like there's any public transit that would get me to the Stamford observatory, is that right? It sounds like fun, I didn't know there were online observatories?! May I ask for a URL[s]? thank you!
