We will read and discuss various Transformational Poems that Resonate and bring us to “Wonder, Mystery and Oneness”. Among the poets we will explore are: Mary Oliver, Rumi, Ryokan, Li Po, Rilke, Basho, Antonia Machado, Hafiz, Lao Tzu, Chuang Tzu and many others.

No previous experience or knowledge necessary.  If you have favorite poems or poets, please bring their work with you to share. You may bring your own poems (please make copies  if you can – about 20 is a good number). The more poems we have, the richer the experience will be. We will provide a variety of “Transformational Poems” that we have compiled over the years. Please bring paper and pencil to write with.

Place: All Souls Unitarian Church 80th Street and Lexington Ave. (see signs to room).

Dates: Fridays – May 9th, 16th and 23rd. You can come to any session, they are not consecutive.

Time: We will start at 7:00 pm sharp and end around 8:30, so please come at least by 6:45.

FREE:  Please bring PAPER and PENCIL, and Plan to join us for coffee afterwards

“The birds have vanished into the sky,

And the last clouds have drained away.

We sit together, the Mountain and me,

Until only the Mountain remains.”  Li Po[masked] (Chinese Poet)

Hello, All, I was charging my white iPhone on the left side wall by the door and left iPhone on the desk last night during the poetry group. Did anyone see it? I left to the cafe afterwards without taking it with me. :(

Please let me know if you saw it or picked it up. All Soul church staff didn't have it. Thank you. Ping
