PHP Meetup, by New York PHP Community July Meetup

This month we're continuing our new (old?) meetup format, Beer Review, with a focus on the newly released PHP 5.3.

There's only one thing better than getting feedback from your peers - getting feedback after a few beers - thus Beer Review. Beer Review is a lightning talk format designed to field questions and provide a direct feedback channel for the community.

We have reserved a private backroom at a restaurant, with an LCD, free wireless, and seating for about 30 people.

Come prepared with your presentation topic and if you plan on presenting, please be prepared to give a succinct lighting talk!

Here's the format:

6:30pm - 20 minutes of networking
6:40pm - lightning talk selection deadline
6:50pm - 5-10 minute lightning talks from members (max 40 minutes)

Presentation topics:
-- general questions/answers about PHP or anything AMP
-- review/analysis of a problem or existing solution
-- general questions about best practices and implementation strategy

2-5 minute pitches about your available services will also be considered.

Remember, presentations will be selected by 6:40pm, so arrive on time.

Food and beverage table service is available.
